I'm almost a junior in high-school and my school calculates GPA on a scale where A=4 A-=3.7 B+=3.3 and so on. Does a college use the same scale?

I'm almost a senior in high-school and my school calculates grade pt ave on a scale where A=4 A-=3.7 B+=3.3 and so on. Does a university use the same scale?
